Mario D. Fiore, 90, of East Greenwich, passed away October 8, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Gloria A. (Glaser) Fiore. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Theresa (Di’Orio) Fiore. Mr. Fiore had owned and operated the former Fiore Pontiac Volkswagon for 55 years and had been a WWII Navy Veteran. He is survived by his children: Ronald J. Fiore and his wife Susan, Linda M. Fiore Yee and her husband Arthur, Judy R. Fiore and her husband Ben Edwards and Anne T. Fiore Wong and her husband Arthur; grandchildren: Jack, Sarah, Nathan, Matthew, Sabrina, Sierra, Beth and Thomas; and a sister Vera Barrett. He was the brother of the late: Andrew Fiore, Angela DeCristofaro, John Fiore, Rose Paul, Vincent Fiore and Elizabeth Wilbur. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 14th at 10:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial with military honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours: Monday, Oct. 13, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
