Parking Ban Starts at Midnight, No School Monday

by | Feb 1, 2015

cove snowA town parking ban goes into effect at midnight Sunday and school has been cancelled because of a snow storm expected to bring another 6 to 12 inches to our area. The storm is forecast to begin late Sunday night and a winter storm warning is in effect until 1 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3.

In addition, trash collection will be delayed a day for the week, so if your normal trash pickup day is Monday, it will be Tuesday. There is no recycle pickup this week.

Town offices will open at noon Monday.

This storm comes less than a week after the region was hit by a blizzard which closed the town for a day and a half and schools for two days. That storm brought East Greenwich 17 to 18 inches of snow*.
