East Greenwich News launched last February as a blog. Today it turns a page and comes to you as a full-fledged website. What you already love about EG News – the content – remains the same, but the organization is changing a bit and the address is easier to find and remember: eastgreenwichnews.com.
We unveil it officially today, Sept. 1, but it remains a work in progress. We want reading EG News to be a pleasing experience, so if you have thoughts, suggestions, complaints, please let us know (send emails to [email protected]).
We will now be selling ad space on the website as well as in the email newsletter. We have good rates and reach a very targeted EG-focused audience. If you are interested in advertising on the site, contact [email protected].
Thanks to Deb Acheson for our great new logo, Bil Herron for LOADS of help with the backend website stuff, and Alan Clarke for help with preparing ads and being a sounding board – your belief in EG News has been inspiring. Thanks to everyone who has made a contribution to EG News, voiced support and sent story ideas and tips. I am very grateful. Finally, really big thanks to Neal McNamara – husband, friend, and stalwart supporter of EG News.
